High-level OECD Conference: ICTs, the Environment and Climate Change

On 27-28 May 2009 the Danish Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation will host a high-level OECD Conference on how Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) can improve environmental performance and mitigate climate change in all sectors of the economy.

The theme of “Green ICTs” will be discussed in the context of the economic crisis and the role of innovation for green growth.

OECD Secretary-General, Angel Gurría, and Danish Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation, Helge Sander, will open the conference. Policy makers, representatives from business and civil society, and academic experts will advance the policy agenda on ICTs to improve environmental performance and combat climate change.

@Arthur : excellente organisation et très bonne qualité des flux vidéos. Bravo ! Pour tout dire, c’est le premier évènement Green ICT qui permet vraiment aux participants de rester chez eux tout en bénéficiant de l’interactivité avec la salle (questions, vidéo, etc.). Nous publierons une synthèse des sessions que nous avons suivi en début de semaine.
